Professional Services Rates

When you implement CBS you may choose to embark on a program of change. For those enterprises that want management consultancy services, your CBS Implementer is well versed in helping you get the most from CBS. If your change maanagement program needs other specialities, Compass Commercial can put you in touch with highly qualified and professional people who have the expertise to bring your vision into reality.

In general, the cost of the professional external consultant will include:
•  time spent on Communication, Education and Training, (CET) of senior management and the CMPT
•  any assistance required in collating seed data
•  review and assistance with the planning of the change management project
•  specific consultancy to the Marketing, Operations, or Human Resources departments to formulate their strategic vision, business intents and organization design
•  other consultancy services which the enterprise deems necessary to bring about a meaningful change to its culture and operational efficiency.

Consultancy rates vary between implementer groups depending on the extent of their experience and mix of senior, technical and other project consultants that need to be assigned to the particular enterprise change management project.

As a general guide, rates vary between US$150 to US$250 per hour, for consultants with the most expertise.

Many larger enterprises need a greater level of consulting services because their organizations are more complex with more specialised functions and many more staff that need to be informed and involved in the change process. Sometimes, the cost of consultancy for a large enterprise can be many times the cost of a similiar change project for a smaller firm.

Accordingly, consulting assignments may range from as little as US$25,000 to US$5m or more, on any one change project.

The best way of determining the extent of consulting required and the associated cost is to develop an implementation plan which articulates strategy, key stages/tasks and project duration.
