Correspondence, Documentation and Action

Document Management comprises the procedures for handling correspondence, storing electronic documents [whether on-line or off-line], and control of action needed to deal with issues arising.

Use the links [at right] to view each procedure.

When correspondence is received, it needs to be scanned, filed, assigned as a job to the right person or area and tracked until it has been appropriately dealt with and response has been delivered to the originator.

When documents are generated internally, they need to be filed in the right places. When queries are made of another department or research is commissioned, every action needs to be planned, monitored and controlled.

With CBS Document Management, staff know exactly what to do and when. The supervisor can see what needs to be done or re-done. The manager can see what's happening, when and where. The stakeholders receive better quality, reliability and communication.
