CBS sits on an Oracle database, which can be deployed on any Oracle supported network (most commonly TCP/IP). It supports user authentication via login/pass and can easily be integrated into a Windows domain or similar single sign-on environment.

The Oracle database can be hosted internally on the local area network (LAN) of your enterprise.

Alternatively, the Oracle database can be hosted remotely in a Web Server Model and accessed using your web browser.
