LAN Model  

This page provides detailed information about our CBS LAN model.

Compass Commercial Australia (CCA) has set its pricing policy to ensure that Compass Business Suite (CBS) represents excellent value for money. Each area of its business functionality is competitively priced to be no more than just a fraction of its benefits. The overall cost including implementation depends on the CBS model, type of license plan, level of usage, and relationship rebates. Prices stated herein are indicative only.

There are two CBS models to choose from: one where the CBS database is installed on a server on your Local Area Network (LAN); and the other where it is hosted on our computer network and we act as an Application Service Provider (ASP). This feature sheet deals with the pricing for the LAN model.

If the customer decides to install CBS on its own LAN, there are three innovative pricing plans from which to choose. Each plan has been specifically designed to provide the flexibility needed to suit different customer situations, no matter what their business or financial circumstances. Standard Purchase Plan - Some enterprises want to purchase a full software license that allows them to configure (through data) the software in their own way and have full control over its implementation and integration in with their own applications and enterprise data repository. Our standard software site license purchase plan satisfies both objectives.

Of course, except for large corporations, most companies cannot afford to spend that much in up-front capital expenditure. So CCA developed two cost-effective pay-for-usage "Flexi" rental plans, which reduce the usual payback risks. The first is based on the number of users; the other is based on the number of transactions.

Both "Flexi" plans include free basic User and Technical support as well as all software upgrades. Please call one of our account managers to discuss the base monthly rental charges involved.

Customer enterprises can select from the following application modules (AMs):
• SuperMan (1 AM) - Scheduling, Manual Rostering, Roster Costing, SUPERSTARS On-Floor Self-Service and Time & Attendance
• SuperMan Plus (2 AMs) - Scheduling, Automated Rostering, Manual Rostering, Roster Costing, SUPERSTARS On-Floor Self-Service, Time & Attendance, and Staff Appraisals
• CORRIDOR™ (1 AM) - Business Planning, Research, Change Management, Marketing Intentions, Events, Communications & PR, Tasks, HR Notes
• Organisational Development Workbench (1 AM) - Organisation Structure & Design (eg OUs, OUPs, TOUs, TOUPs, Responsibilities), Capabilities & Skills Audit

The choice to adopt CBS is a decision to reap benefits far beyond the cost. For many customer enterprises, substantial savings in staff cost and related human resource factors are not only possible, but fully sustainable in the long term.

Other benefits include improvements in staff satisfaction, customer satisfaction, more effective communications, marketing and management, resulting in greater revenue and net profits. Any way you look at it, CBS provides a positive benefit to cost ratio.
