With CBS, the person doing the work has everything they need to know to get the job done fast and effectively: where to go, what to do, what to take including parts, tools / kit, special tools and materials, plant and equipment to be hired, type of work to be performed, how long the job is expected to take, estimated travel and downtime and any special instructions.

When the work order is issued, all this information is collated from information recorded on the process selected for the work order, any specific instructions or details recorded on the asset and additional information recorded on the work order itself.

You can even specify that training material and detailed explanations on how to perform the process be attached to work orders for staff new to job or needing an update on processes.
