Training Staff

How do you know whether staff and contractors are properly trained on the procedures they must carry out and the occupational health and safety standards they must adhere to? How do you effectively and efficiently address gaps in staff skills and understanding?

CBS has the answers. All procedures, linked to their relevant occupational health and safety standards, are held in a central store with strict access and version control. CBS tracks which procedures [and which version] each person has read, understood and committed to comply with.

For each staff member and contractor, managers nominate the set of procedures that individual must be trained in.

Staff are then given access to CBS's EASI-WORK page where they work through their own list of procedures and confirm their understanding and commitment to abide by those procedures.

Similarly, CBS holds full documentation of the business's assets, including pictures, diagrams, maintenance procedures and history log. Managers nominate for each individual the set of assets they will be working on so staff can familiarise themselves with those assets.

Staff can prioritise and pace their learning according their own learning requirements. Managers can track what learning staff have undertaken.
